Sigatoka Cave Heli-Safari Day Trip (15 Minutes) (Heli-Tours)2022

Fly over majestic mountains and into the Sigatoka River Valley. Spend a half day on a thrilling eco/cultural adventure into the Naihehe caves before returning to Denarau by road.

Get picked up from your Nadi / Denarau resort and get flown over to the Sigatoka River Valley. Upon arrival at the valley departure point.  Safety drills are provided to all, the chief is appointed and you’re off to discover the heart and soul of Fiji.
Upon arrival at the departure point, you will be transported across the mighty Sigatoka River on our modern day bilibili or “push push punt” before meeting your Off-Road guide. Here you will be given a short safety briefing before your adventure begins.
You will meander deep into the interior passing through Fijian villages giving you a brief insight into Fijian village life. Your Off-Road guides will stop at several amazing locations providing you with a history of the region of Fiji, allowing you to capture the moment on your cameras, images that have to be seen to be believed.
After some 45 minutes, you will arrive at Fiji’s largest cave system. You will be greeted by the Bete (priest) the traditional protector of the Naihehe Cave.
Ladies are required to wear their complimentary sulu/sarong so that they can partake in the traditional kava ceremony. Your guide will present to the Bete your sevusevu (kava) asking for permission to enter the sacred cave.
The group chief will receive the first bowel of kava on behalf of everyone. From there you will walk to the cave entrance where you are provided with your headlamps and explained how you will enter the cave system which includes the ‘pregnancy gap’.
After exploring the caves, indulging in a sumptuous Fijian BBQ lunch prepared in our purpose built BBQ area overlooking a stunning swimming hole where you are free to take a dip.
As with all great adventure there comes a time to say goodbye as you hop aboard your Off-Road vehicle to head home. This Homewood passage enables you to reminisce on all that you have experience on ‘The road less travelled’.

• Minimum Numbers: The prices for scenic flights, adventure combos and transfer bookings are subject to a minimum of two full adult fares. Children fly for half price on all scenic’s and combos.

• Ages: 0-3: Infant (Free of charge - on the lap of a full fare paying adult); 4-11: Child (May be subject to a discounted rate for scenic and combo flights when accompanied by adults – see above); 12+: Adult (Full adult Fare)
• Weights: The maximum passenger weight is 136kg. In addition to this we also have a maximum total aircraft weight, therefore passengers 100kgs and over may be subject to an excess weight surcharge.
• Baggage: No baggage allowance.

Cancellation Policy:

• If cancelled more than 3 days before the flight we offer a full refund. If cancelled within 3 days by you, the customer there will be a 50% refund but if cancelled within 24 hours there will be no refund.
• If Heli Tours Fiji cancels the flight, then it will be rescheduled or a refund given.
• If the flight is cancelled through no fault of the customer, a full refund will be offered.

Weather:

• All flights are subject to weather availability. If cancelled due to weather then we will endeavour to re-book the customers at another time that is convenient or in the case where this is not available then a full refund will be given.

How your booking works...

• We only take a small deposit now (approx 10% to 15%) and you pay the balance due on arrival at the Sales booth, shared with Skydive Fiji and Adventure Sailing Fiji, which is located at the Port Denarau Marina Passenger Terminal.
• If you pay the balance in cash you will avoid the extra 3.5% credit card charges at check-in.
• Payment will be taken in Fijian Dollars only. Any refunds will be paid in FJD. The payment amount may be different due to currency fluctuations.
• Last minute booking for next day, please book no later than 2 pm the day before.
• As soon as you book we'll send you an "Order Pending" email to say we have received this. We then book your tour (as fast as humanly possible), and send you a second "Order Confirmed" email with all the important details of your trip. No need to print this voucher but you must be able to tell the check-in staff your Booking Reference number.
• Your credit card is stored in our booking systems secure vault and will automatically be deleted 30 days after your trip. We do not have access to your credit card numbers.
• All prices include 25% Fiji Government taxes & levies (9% VAT + 10% Sales Turnover Tax + 6% Environmental Levy)
